# Botsify: AI Chatbot & Multi-Channel Agent Platform

> Botsify lets you build and deploy AI chatbots and agents on web, Messenger, and WhatsApp. Learn what's possible and how the platform is organized.

Botsify is an AI-powered conversational platform that lets you design, deploy, and manage chatbots and intelligent agents across multiple channels — including your website, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp — without writing complex infrastructure code. Whether you need a simple FAQ bot, a multi-step AI agent, or a voice-enabled assistant, Botsify gives you the building blocks to ship quickly and iterate safely.

## What You Can Build

Botsify supports three distinct agent types, each suited to a different interaction style:

    A rule-assisted conversational bot ideal for structured flows, FAQ handling, and guided interactions. Chatbots follow defined chat flows and are easy to configure without deep AI expertise.
  </Card>

  <Card title="AI Agent" icon="robot">
    A fully AI-driven agent that reasons over context, maintains memory, and can execute multi-turn conversations autonomously. Agents support versioning, identity configuration, and agentic API access.
  </Card>

    A voice-enabled agent designed for audio interactions. Voice bots bring the same AI capabilities to spoken conversation, making them suitable for phone or voice-interface deployments.

## Key Platform Capabilities

**Multi-channel deployment.** A single bot configuration can serve users on your website widget, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp simultaneously. You manage one agent; Botsify handles the channel routing.

**Agent versioning.** Every agent supports named, immutable versions. You can iterate on prompts, memory, and chat flows in a staging version without touching the live configuration. When you're ready, you promote a version to active and your changes go live instantly — with an easy rollback path if something goes wrong.

**Streaming conversations.** In addition to standard synchronous request-response messaging, Botsify supports server-sent event (SSE) streaming so your users see responses token-by-token — just like modern AI chat interfaces.

**User attributes.** Attach custom key-value data to any user (identified by their `fbId`) to power personalized responses, conditional flows, and audience segmentation.

**Analytics and history.** Conversation history is stored per user per bot, giving you a full audit trail and the ability to replay or review past sessions.

**MCP and agentic API access.** Botsify exposes a REST API designed for agentic clients and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, enabling programmatic bot management, conversation driving, and version control.

## How This Documentation Is Organized

This documentation is divided into three main areas:

* **Concepts** — Explains the mental models behind bots, agents, versions, conversations, and user attributes. Start here if you're new to the platform.
* **Guides** — Task-oriented walkthroughs for common scenarios such as setting up a new bot, managing versions, and sending proactive messages.
* **API Reference** — Complete endpoint documentation with request/response schemas, authentication details, and code examples.
